Conflict Minerals Policy

Conflict Minerals Policy
As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, GUDENG conducts thorough due diligence within its supply chain regarding minerals used in its products—specifically tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold, and cobalt. The company strictly monitors the sources of these minerals to avoid using any that originate from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and neighboring conflict-affected regions, especially those linked to armed groups, forced labor, or other human rights violations.
GUDENG complies with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct and follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, or other equivalent and widely recognized due diligence frameworks, to ensure responsible mineral sourcing practices.

Conflict Minerals Specification
GUDENG Precision communicates its conflict mineral policies and regulations to suppliers annually, requiring them to comply and establish their own policies. Suppliers are also obligated to pass these policies and requirements down to their next-tier supply chain partners, ensuring that the entire supply chain collectively commits to avoiding the use of minerals sourced from conflict-affected regions that involve human rights abuses.

Due Diligence
GUDENG Precision follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas to establish a comprehensive due diligence framework. In addition to actively promoting the prohibition of conflict minerals, the company also uses this framework to identify and assess whether the raw materials and components supplied by vendors involve conflict minerals. This ensures the transparency and effectiveness of supply chain management.
